Trapped on a cruise ship with a man I absolutely hate is not how I wanted to spend this fake honeymoon. Especially when my "fiance" has a deadly ex on the same boat.

Jackson is everything I'm not: brash, careless, and a former fossil thief. But he's my ticket to getting what I want - the original Spinosaurus fossils that have been lost for decades. Now I have to play the part, win the fossils, and try not to kill him in the process.

The danger of being caught, tortured, or killed isn't what scares me.

Navigating the waters of this fake relationship is threatening to pull me under.

And I'm terrified of sinking.

Contains mature themes.

Loved the Characters and voice actor. Luckily the Focus is on the Story and not only the mature themes. Will directly dive into the third Episode.

Almost as good as the First part

The narrator and the author did so many things right! The tropes, the accents, it's perfect.
The grumpy arabic Baha gets send on a mission with the sunshine cowboy Jackson. They get onto an ocean cruise and yes there is only one bed in the room. The tension between the two is great and I really liked the plot about the portuguese fossils. So sattle up for the ride!

I am drowning!

Classic Grumpy and Sunshine story with a dinosaur twist.

I would have liked a lot more dinosaur time, but I get it’s hard to incorporate.
What wouldn’t I do to get a shark as a present!

Funny at times and I loved how the grumpy Baha fell so hard for the Cowboy.

Funny and emotional

works much better, than an egyptian dino with a somewhat russian accent. That annoyed me quite a bit.
The story is nice enough but nothing new, except the prehestoric animal parts, which are done pretty well and make this enjoyable.
Apart from Baha's accent, the narrator worked well for me.

A cowboy-dino with texas twang...

After reading the other reviews I was a bit apprehensive of this book, but I really enjoyed it. It has a similar vibe like the first volume, but with more banter and growling, which made me laugh every time. I liked the characters and their dynamics and was rooting for them the whole time. So far the books have been fun, with hints of an interesting backstory, but the individual characters aren’t written that deeply. That doesn’t bother me since it fits the vibe and they are likeable all the same, without seeming fake or shallow.
One thing about the other reviews I completely agree with is the narrator’s interpretation of an arabic accent. It seems like he isn’t used to speak with an accent that isn’t american. The texas way of speaking seemed legit, but the “arabic” accent was a bit off, and there was another one I couldn’t place at all until it was revealed that the character was German, but the accent really wasn’t. Other than that, the narrator did a great job and I liked the different voices he used for the characters, e.g. I instantly recognised Dalton’s voice from the first volume.
Can’t wait to start the next volume!

Great sequel
