One mage: Bel Adams–part demon, gun shy about being rejected by one again, needs a familiar.

One familiar: Nico di Rossi–Army Ranger, needs a change of pace and a new purpose in life, is a golden retriever in human form (though not literally).

Plus one familiar: Garen Dallarosa–Secret Service, part gargoyle, needs his ex-lover Nico back.

One second chance–all for the taking.

Three of my favorite speakers in one place—awesome. A lovely story, great world-building, and likable characters. No unnecessary drama, but plenty of action and a deep relationship (even if the path to it was a little rocky). If you’re not into kinky stuff, this might not be the book for you, but in my opinion, the steamy scenes were well-paced, and the focus was definitely on the story. Personally, I would have liked to have had more details about certain facts and background stories; as it was, the book felt almost a little too short to me. As expected, the three voice actors were great, but I would have preferred a dramatized version in which each character voiced themselves, even though I understand that this would have been logistically very complex and would likely have exceeded the budget.

High entertainment value

This is really magical, funny and sexy. I really liked the characters, the story is gripping and the romance sweet. More please.

It is amazing, you won’t regret it

I really loved this! The story is sweet and heartwarming, the voices fit the characters. Poly relationships are absolutely underrepresented in literature and if, they don't get the happy endings they deserve. So I really appreciate this triad. The book gave me some good laughs, too. On the one hand because it's funny written and on the other hand because German is my native language and I really cracked up at the parts where they tried to speak German😂 so please more of that!

OMG YES

At first I didn't realize, that this Series is polyamorous, but I have absoloutly no problem with that. Not with the way this book was written. The 2nd books title was, what caught my attention, so I listened to the preview and thought this book sounded alright, so I gave it a try. I didn't think I would laugh/ smirk/ chortle so much while listening though. Absolutely loved it and am now even more eager vor Vol2! The german pronounciations make me chuckle though.

Even better as expected
