Her attention to detail was nauseating. Struggled to finish the book after a year, which is why I got the audio book. Narrator took some getting used to, but I eventually enjoyed her use of different voices and accents for the characters. She should work on her German pronunciation though.

Long-winded tome, but a must read for fans

I expected to read about more about, Jem, Roger, Bri and Mandy. Instead the story just kept going on and on about the war. Much as I like Clare and Jamie, I felt their time travelling family should have been at the forefront. I found William's character a bit flat definitely not as colourful as Lord John seemed to be.
