I loved these little books. I would have loved to be able to read them in the original Japanese, because I'm not sure the translation conveys the author's writing faithfully. But even so, you can see the beautiful writing shining through. I didn't feel like the voice actor reflected the story well, though. Some of the reading is a bit blunt and the story is so soft that I feel someone gentler might have been better suited to this story. But you can sense the reader's love for the story so that's ok I guess. In all, I enjoyed it.
