The hero of Will Save the Galaxy for Cash returns to do what he does best. Which is - what again, exactly?
With the age of heroic star pilots and galactic villains completely killed by quantum teleportation, the ex-star pilot currently named Dashford Pierce is struggling to find his identity in a changing universe.
Then, a face from his past returns and makes him an offer he can't refuse: take part in just one teeny weeny, slightly illegal, daring heist, and not only will he have the means to start the new life he craves, but also save his childhood hero from certain death.

it's another humourous yatzhee book.
well worth the money. just lovely stuff. also sequel hook. so this is kind of an ongoing thing now.

A dashing growing up story
Dashford Piers is again mistaken for the most hated and most beloved Starpilot of them all. He starts out denouncing to be a starpilot but whilst his actions betray his sentiment at first he soon grows out of being a hero all together.
This book is a parody of both the idea of the wild west and space fiction. Acknowledging that most heroes of said genres just want to play where there are no rules.
He comes to a strong conclusion to his sublty executed but also wide character arc, which makes this book the growing up story of a 30odd year old manchild.
Exactly Yaazees style with enough silliness to make the graver themes fun and entertaining.

An amazing book with an unbelievable ending.
Already liking the first book of the Jacques McKeown series (will save the galaxy for food), it's world, characters and story, I've decided to buy go for this one next.
The author truly understands his craft, as exposition is done seamlessly and the story escalates at a good pace.
However, I've decided to write this review simply for the ending. It truly is a masterclass of literature. Truly amazing.
Thank you, Mr. Croshaw for this fun and fulfilling experience.

Yahtzee ist zurück
Wer Yahtzee Croshaw kennt, der weiß genau worauf er sich bei seinen Büchern einlässt. Viel Humor. Und auch dieses hier enttäuscht nicht. Das nächste Buch darf aber ruhig wieder etwas länger sein.

Plothole? or did I just miss it?
I'm not sure, but I do not think there ever is an explanation, as to why the group was hired for the heist. The explanation that is given in the beginning, makes no sense at the end of the book.
Otherwise, I love listening to Yahtzee Croshaw, the paste of the story is fast and easy to follow (besides my irritation at the end).

Again funny and cool story
