This is a wholesome frienemy type of romance that has a lovely story, though quite predictable -as usual in the romance genre. That being said, it took me to my happy place, so I say the former was a win to my tastes.
The spice is not unusual though I was completely captivated by the writing as well as the huge talents of both narrators. The pen scene is my new favorite spice scene! When you hear/read it you‘ll know what I mean. It’s more the challenge, which was aptly parred in the scene which accentuates the lovely banter throughout the book.
Wonderful read, though not quite 5 stars- I would say 4,7

I usually love her books but the female lead is plain out mean to the male maincharacter. What should have been playfull banter is downright infuriating. And the "last conflict" is so fabricated ...The male character deserved better.
