This book fabulously explains codependency and complex trauma without ever saying those words.

The prose is beautiful and the narration is great. That being said I am confused why Cheryl didn't narrate her own book considering she narrated her A Thousand Beautiful Things.

This book is a masterclass in memoir writing as well as being a very heartbreaking yet wholesome story.

ich fand dieses hörbuch toll! es weckt die abenteuerlust und die sprecherin ist sehr gut zu verstehen! würde am liebsten auch gleich ne hikingtour machen ;)

inspirierend und schön

Die Sprecherin ist echt super, gerade wenn man Englisch nicht fließend kann ist das Buch doch super zu verstehen.
Die Geschichte ist einzigartig und sehr nüchtern, wahr... Aber man hat hier keinen Höhepunkt oder richtige Spannungsmomente. Eine nette Geschichte um sich berieseln zu lassen in ein paar entspannten Stunden mit audible.
