A world dark and magical
I cannot find words yet. this book destroyed me completely. I Love it!! A World so rough and dark and magical. Incredible characters. I love Nadya and Malschiasz but the end...so surprising. it is already my highlight of the Year. can't wait for the next (audio) book!!!!

boring, confusing, weird
First of all: I always finish books.. Having said that: I was tempted to stop this one midway. There are so many aspects that annoyed me: first of all the vast amount of names that are thrown around (characters, goods, saints,...), second: every chapter is preceded by a quote from the book of saints -> why? Third: The story is weird and at times I couldn't follow the plot. The characters seemed to have the same problem -> quote from two of the main characters: "Did I die? or didn't I? It was complicated" and: "Nadia didn't understand what was happening". Neither did I.
I cannot recommend this book. I wouldn't know who would enjoy listening to it.
