Die Story um zwei Kindesfreunde die sich verlieren in der Jugend und doch immer wieder aufeinander treffen, ist Glaubwürdig und herzerwärmend erzählt. Ich mag wie sich die beiden an ihre gemeinsame Sexualität herantasten. War überrascht und mag die beiden Charaktere sehr. Der Sprecher ist gut und bringt beide Charaktere sehr gut rüber.

I bought this audiobook because it ticked all my boxes: enemies-to-lovers, one-sided crush, the word 'sadist' in the description.

What I got: rich High-school boys. The 'enemies'-part is 3 lines of rude comments in chapter 1 then they go back to being friends & and the love rival is only a place holder and dispatched quickly.

Apart from totally missing to meet my expectation the story is shallow and short, the voice actors do not fit this story at all; way too mature considering that the main characters are in high school. Due to the lack of story depth, the whole performace is more like porn.
As for sadism... more like schmalz-y
