I didn’t like Vaughns voice spoken by Bett.
But I liked it nontheless.

Vaughn is pretty much an a*hole most of the time, half of the novel describes a somewhat toxic relationship. It gets better when Bett finally starts to liberate himself from the pressure of all the expectations that weigh on him but that feels a little rushed. I‘d rather seen the emphasis of the story on this aspect instead of Vaughn‘s toxic behavior.
The narrators do a good job though I didn’t like Vaughn‘s voice much. It sounds a bit too much like a cartoon villain.
