When Alice Love surfaces from a beautiful dream to find she's been injured in a gym, she knows that something is very wrong – she hates exercise. Loved the idea, and found myself wondering what if ... My daughter wasn't born ten years ago, and I thought I'd missed my chance of becoming a mother. What if, indeed, I lost ten years of memories!
Loved so many of the characters, little Olivia, Fran, Madison, ... They're entirely believable. Excellent narrator, too!

Ich konnte kaum aufhören es zu hören und war traurig als es vorbei war.
Sehr empfehlenswert.

Great reading... It is hart to stop listening. Love her writing. Sometimes we do need a bump in our lives to see things from a different prospective and maybe reconsider things for the better stating true to oneself.

Never disappointed!

A very entertaining story, read very well, plus even though the story may not be neurologically accurate, the ramblings of Alice set you thinking. It makes you start comparing your actual self with some former self and you start to wonder what you'd think about your life now seen through the eyes of some former self. (The other way round is not so easy either as we remember things seen through the lens of our current self.) Maybe thinking about our current life like Alice does in the book would help some of us to loosen up a bit. A book that I can recommend as entertaining and interesting.

Wie man eine Geschichte um Gedächtnisverlust erzählen kann machte mich neugierig. Zunächst australisch schräg und laut entwickelt die Geschichte ihren eigenen Charme und fängt den Leser immer mehr ein.

Die Idee ist genial, 10 Jahre vergessen und dann dein Leben betrachten. Wunderbar wie Charaktere und Beziehungen beschrieben werden. Ein leises Buch über das normale Leben mit Stellen zum Schmunzeln.

Die Geschichten von Moriarty sind immer wundersam gewoben, menschlich klug, psychologisch dicht und sehr warmherzig. So auch diese. Eine interessante Gedankenspielerei: Was wäre, wenn ich alle achlechten Erinnerungen mit einem Schlag vergesse? Wunderbar gelesen! Unbedingte Empfehlung @

I just loved that Story! Interesting exciting, sad, and made me smile and laugh. I can highley recommend this book, I defintley did not want it to end. The speaker was perfekt!
