such a great book that dives into all the drama right away! for my first time ever listening to an audible book it was a great experience. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves juicy stories with unexpected turns.

Wie immer ein wunderbares Buch von dieser großartigen Schriftstellerin! Die fesselnde Familienstory entfalltet sich verschachtelt in verschiedenen Familien in Rückblenden und lässt ein kaleidoskopartiges Bild einer Tragödie entstehen, die einen immer mehr in ihren Sog zieht. es ist faszinierend, was für eine tiefblickende und empathische Psychlogin Moriarty ist. Jede Beobachtung sitzt, jeder Dialog spricht gestochen scharf von der Gemütslage der Protagonisten und dennoch erlöst sie alle Beteiligten mit großer Menschenliebe. Am Ende gibt es, wie immer bei dieser Autorin, einen kleinen Twist, der einen nachdenklich zurückläst. Die Vorleserin passt kongenial zu diesem Buch. Großartig!

Die Charaktere und deren Gedanken sind in allen Liane Moriarty Büchern immer sehr interessant und Caroline Lee ist eine wahnsinnig tolle Vorleserin.
Ich habe es mir angeeignet, mir Hörbücher zu kaufen, da ich beruflich viel unterwegs bin. Mit diesem Buch vergingen 6h Autofahrt fast viel zu schnell und ich musste selbst bei kurzen Strecken á 5 min weiterhören :-)
