Single mother April Parker has lived in Willow Creek for twelve years with a wall around her heart. April and Mitch are my favorite couple in the series, but this is not my favorite book. Though I liked it more than Well played.
I love the tension that was already building between April and Mitch in the last books. And I mostly enjoyed their story. I just wished there were chapters in Mitchs perspective. I wanted to know what he was thinking, especially in the last third of the book. I like April, but at the end I was a bit bored to hear her thoughts about the same problems again and again. That's when I wished it would switch to Mitch
