Über diesen Titel
Struggling to recover from his losses in Kirshtein, Lee is swept back into the fray when a dangerous new Herald sets her sights on him. Hell-bent on reshaping the world in her own image and with her own ideals, she is willing to commit even the most immoral acts in her pursuit of righteousness. At risk of losing everything he has worked so hard to create, Lee has to find a way to defend the weak against a madwoman whose deranged sense of justice has twisted the limits of the game.
To make matters even more difficult, Lee is forced to face these problems while dealing with an increasingly erratic system he doesn't understand and the Goddess of Blood's own strong-willed Herald.
This is the third installment of War Aeternus, a popular LitRPG gamelit book that focuses on the adventures of Lee, a regular office worker stuck in a game-like world.

Pro's:
I love the setting/ world - it's a unique scenario. I enjoy that city administration and politics are becoming increasingly relevant. This is one of the view times where I enjoy the secondary story (on earth); I would actually like to see more interaction between the protagonist and his new Russian family in law.
Con's:
I didn't quite understand why Maive acted like she did especially during the last scene. Furthermore I found that there was very little diplomatic interaction between the protagonist and the council of his newly conquered city.
Facit:
Overall a very well crafted sequel of an even better series. Fantastic audio effects and quality (this is the standard of this particular production studio). Good character dynamics. Unique world. A lot of story potential.

- spoiler alert -
To make sure we all know how cool Lee is, everyone else was painted a bit more dumb than expected. It was best visible with Brigid, who was supposed to be this bigshot general but later had the role of an incompetent woman who let Lee make all the decisions. Give me a break. And I nearly stopped listening when Jade showed up, worst character I met in an audiobook in a while.
Could have been better
