The apocalypse is coming, but only a lucky—or perhaps unlucky—few know.

Silas is inducted into the System, becoming the last in a long line of Earth's "forerunners." The rewards are great, but the danger is greater. We are not alone in the universe. The fate of five worlds hangs on how their forerunners perform.

Will Silas have what it takes to win Earth a place in the multiverse? Or will Earth become another mining world stripped of all resources and left a barren husk floating in the cosmos?

A system-enforced secret, a deadly challenge, and only a year to go. The countdown begins now!

The narrator is great as for the story....it's not one you read again but it's short at least!

Great narrator

me gusta mucho el genero de fantasía y ciencia ficción, nunca había escuchado o leído una historia en base a un estilo RPG y la verdad me ha gustado mucho, ya estoy escuchando el segundo libro.

first RPG style and I like it

It's quite okay, but nothing special. Sometimes unnecessarily complicated in my opinion. I probably won't buy part two.

It is not bad...

Going back into the real World but also multiverse style. I like this one.

Interesting approach

the first book was actually very enjoyable despite some minor gripes but the series overall gets pretty bad so I can't recommend it.

the series really goes downhill...
