I’ve read all the books in this series a few times since their release. They’re well written, combine humor, drama, and suspense and the well-developed characters really pull you into the story. I’d never truly enjoyed audiobooks before, until this series. And Emily Shaffer is the main reason for this change of heart. Her use of different “voices” and accents for each character adds to the experience and takes the confusion away when listening to dialogue. This use of the different voices also helps immerse the listener more deeply into the story. The performance may not always have been perfect but overall? Very nicely done.
