Über diesen Titel

Duty brought them together. Love made them stay.

After tragedy strikes, Fitzwilliam Darcy becomes the caretaker of not just one, but two orphaned children of Charles and Jane Bingley, along with their determined and devoted aunt, Miss Elizabeth Bennet.

Elizabeth is resolved to protect the babies at any cost—even if it means joining forces with Mr. Darcy, the most disagreeable man of her acquaintance. When Bingley’s relatives aggressively claim the twins and their inheritance, Darcy and Elizabeth must protect their future and navigate the challenging dynamics of duty and loyalty as they are tested in ways they never anticipated.

This heartwarming Regency variation of Jane Austen’s Pride & Prejudice traces the unexpected journey of our dear couple as they overcome fierce obstacles together, building a loving family bond that lasts forever.

The idea is a nice one. The first variation I listened to that contains the loss of Mrs. and Mr. Bingley.
The main theme regarding the guardianship of the heir and the competition is a far fetched one.
I understand that to write this variation a few things must be blended to read the desired outcome, but I feel that this is not really Lizzy.
Near, but not really. This heroine is the whole time crying or rampaging. At least she doesn’t take long to see Darcy as he is.

The conversations go round and round the same lines again and again and I was bored with it very soon.
I had the feeling that all they are doing is blustering and what saved the day was pure circumstance.

Elisabeth who doubted a day before was suddenly all on her husbands side. As if her love is conditional.

No I do not think E’s character has been written well in this variation.

Lady A. and Lady C. and E’s parents ave been a positive surprise though 😉

Well read, very melodramatic written.
