Über diesen Titel
Brody McQuaid is a broken man, and he knows it. While his body survived the war, his soul did not. Besides loving his little niece, his only other sense of purpose comes from saving the wild horses that roam South Park. Ranchers in the area have taken to killing the horses, which are competing with their cattle to feed on the open grass.
Savannah Marshall is a veterinarian on her family's Colorado ranch. She longs to keep her father happy following the tragic death of her older brother, including marrying a man of his choosing. But days before her wedding, she gets cold feet and disappears to South Park. As she learns more about the destruction of the horses, she joins Brody in an attempt to save the wild creatures. But when Savannah's family and the resentments of the area cattlemen catch up with them both, Brody and Savannah will have to tame their fears if they've any hope to let love run free.

1. The story is less fun if you get to know in the first minutes that the two main characters are attracted to one another. Then follows the countless repetition of "s/he is so beautiful". Reminds me of flat story telling of the middle ages with only beautiful heroes and devils.
2. We get to know lots of sensual emotions but the development of thoughts comes short. I myself often need to realise what I think myself. This process is often reduced to "did she love him? Did she really love him" and then still needing a book long to clear it out. Instead of displaying a process that has to do more with own history of the character as well as other characters, or even outside events that are not so closely linked to the plot so it seems more realistic.
3. Don't always spare us the wedding! Not to know too much detail but more in a sense of: I got to know those two people, kind of my friends now, and now I want to be at their wedding, of course! It is such a beautiful, magic moment in reality, why not use it to round up the story much more beautifully than advertising the next book. Also it would be nice to use the characters' progress more to showcase God's acting with people instead of only alluding to Him and the Bible occasionally. e. g. Why does no one wrestle with God when being locked in the cabin? Or maybe share deep spiritual insights with each other and this getting to know each other even better?
4.I got to understand the use of genuine cowboy language but unless the characters are meant to seem cartoon-like, they could also use other images as striking descriptions of situations, for example authentic plants of the surrounding with their characteristics that fit to to a situation, (simple example : Cactus ;) or description of colours with other things from daily life, like coffee, wheat etc.
Still, thank you for your effort in writing!
Please not always the same story pattern!
