Enjoyed it since the beginning. Especially the end was perfect! It's not often that I say this but I'm looking forward to the third book

Best book of the Triology

Honestly all I wrote while listening to this was: omg! And holy crap. So much happened. It is so addicting to listen to these books and experience this story! It is amazing what the author did and is doing with this trilogy. I can’t wait to read the next one.

Im zweiten Teil der Geschichte tritt das sogenannte "Thunderhead" mehr in den Vordergrund. Hierbei handelt es sich um eine künstliche Intelligenz, die für das Wohl der Menschheit sorgt. Während ich persönlich von der Möglichkeit in Zukunft die Lebensspanne des Menschen beliebig zu verlängern recht überzeugt bin, scheint es mir eher fragwürdig, ob eine künstliche Intelligenz jemals über ein derartiges Einfühlungsvermögen verfügen wird. Aber wer weiß...

Die Spannung ließ vielleicht zu Beginn des Buches ein klein wenig nach, erreichte dann aber schnell wieder das Niveau des ersten Bandes. Ich kann den zweiten kaum erwarten.

One of the rare middle volumes in a trilogy that does not feel like it's just padding to set up the proper conclusion.

The story remains true to the characters. They grow, but in ways that make sense, no sudden personality transplants to force the plot.

Everything builds up logically and yet gripping and suspenseful.

The narrator does an awesome job, giving each character their own voice and diction, bringing the story to Iife.
