But the general writing style was very appealing. I liked the dark, graphic but in some way formal/elegant language in which the two wrote to each other.
Story. Kinda dark, kinda messed up but not as shockingly as I expected it to be. To both of them need therapy, yes. Did I have to read about their weird(kinky) relationship mabye. Some parts were actually nice. But did the book was as grotesque, horrible and mind-blowing as I hoped for. Absolutely not.
Fazit: You can listen to it if you have nothing else left. But I hope you have other options going for you. Save yourself some money and search for something else.

and for everyone who also just listened to this, because of Tiktok and people hyping it up online talking about how gross and shocking it is...
It's not.
I went into this thinking I would get the most disgusting and gruesome stuff imaginable thrown at me, and that really didn't happen.
Was is gross at times? Yes. But for me the sheer stupidity of her actions took away from the grossness, because I was busy with thinking about how weird the plot is.
