okay but not great

this series started great with a mc that is not op and is not familiar with rpgs. that was great and refreshing. then we got the transfer to a regular player, that was a reasonable progression. but the further the story progressed the stupider the mc got. he doesn't understand game mechanics even when he seen them before or the message exactly explains what is going on. then he leaves a combat before the beatels die and looses out on XP. he noticed that a large group of enemies are missing but doesn't make the connection that they might be flanking his position. most egregious was the end with the City. that was clear when he got that map
