This whole series is worth reading. I read all the books and enjoyed them so much that I bought them all in narrated form too. James Langton is a pleasure to listen to, just as Grace Burrowes can always be relied on to deliver an interesting, well charactered story. Recommended for anyone who enjoys period novels with believable characters, interesting settings and plots that intrigue and surprise.
