Ich habe von X. Aratare den Podcast "Dragons Reign" gehört und war total begeistert ... ich liebe den Schreibstil der Autorin und wollte ein bisschen mehr für auf die Ohren, da ich gerade leider nicht die Zeit habe mich mit einem Buch entspannt hinzusetzen.
Ich habe großen Respekt für den Sprecher, er spricht diverse Dialekte (russisch, französisch usw) jedoch fand ich es auf die Dauer anstrengend anzuhören.
Das Hörbuch ansich wirkt eigentlich nur wie ein Prolog, für den Preis bin ich leider nicht zufrieden (vor allem weil die Autorin eigentlich regelrechte Marathon Romane schreibt)
Ich habe noch Book2 gekauft, denke aber nicht dass ich noch mehr kaufen werde...vielleicht beginnt die Story mich aber noch zu greifen.

even though the book is short, it's quite interesting and emersive. the voice acting is also good. the only bad thing, which is not necessary bad, is that the audiobook uses some kind of echoing event to indicate when the characters use there powers. this is, like I said, not necessary bad, I'd say in some way it's even helpful, but I found myself really bothers by it and had to pause multiple times to give my ears/ head some rest ( especially because there is a segment where one of the characters is voiced that way for quite some time. id personally wouldn't find it so bad if those longer segments of echoing where t there.) again, I understand why it's used and it is not necessary a bad thing, though I figured I'd make people aware of it in case someone else is sensitive to such things and rather read the books instead.
