So many good ideas but the episodic storytelling makes it hard to be excited about the plot. Some chapters, like Gard hitting rock bottom are brilliant, but mostly it is sadly one of the weaker King novels.

ein ok Buch von King, mehr aber auch nicht. die Story fängt vielversprechend an, verläuft sich dann aber im Drogenrausch, genau, wie King es gesagt hat. Er kann sich an das Schreiben des Buches angeblich nicht mehr erinnern, weil er immer zugedröhnt war, sein schlechtestes Buch, wie er selber zugibt…Also, bei der riesigen Auswahl, die es von ihm gibt…lieber etwas anderes auswählen.

Ich verehre Stephen King, aber es kann eben nicht alles gut sein, was der Workaholic aufschreibt. Hier kommt nach den ersten hundert Seiten nichts mehr, als ob das Buch sehr dünn wäre!
