The book series is one of the best fantasy stories I've heard in a long time. Truly comparable to Joe Abercrombie's works. There's not much to say about the narrator, because he's by far the best! Can’t wait for the next book, please hurry up and write it! ;)

Steven pacey does a stellar Job, which takes this book to 4 stars. The Story is okay, but the characters are mostly unlikeable, which makes the more dramatic scenes feel a bit empty.

The Performance of the Narrator was fantastic as already in the first law series. The story itself even in book two often has sections that drag on for too long and there is no emotional payoff in the final chapters because you dont really know anything about the antagonist outside of him being evil. Many characters are quite unpleasant even though the Autor clearly wants you to like them. Not my cup of tea, wont get the third one.
