fun, entertaining and lovely

Ich kann nur empfehlen, sich darauf einzulassen. Es bringt Spaß :)
Der Sprecher leistet gute Arbeit, könnte aber an einigen Stellen die Situationskomik etwas besser rüberbringen. Ich habe die erste Hälfte des Buches gelesen bevor ich auf die Hörbuchvariante umgestiegen bin und fand manche Szenen beim Lesen teilweise witziger als nun beim Hören. Kann allerdings auch daran liegen, dass ich sie noch in Erinnerung hatte.

Just a fair warning tho- the writing could really be better. it's basically one exposition dump after the other with a few other scenes sprinkled in between. While I am fine with exposition dumping in the beginning of a book ( especially in a series) this was a bit much for me. the writer also constantly repats itself with annoyed me after a while. It felt like the writer thought of the reader as stupid sometimes. He kept spelling things out and repeating those as if one couldn't tell from the rest. I'm not a fan of that. The writing felt like a children's book at at times, even though its content and themes are very much on the mature side. I was also not a big fan of the narrator. He basically kept one tone the whole way through, even though I liked some of the voices he did. but generally his bland way of reading really took away some of the fun scenes and dialogue.
But I did enjoy the story, concept and characters overall so I will be continuing.
