Great story telling & messages!
I was awed by so many great ideas, well-researched knowledge & genuine spirit embedded in this book. I truly love the messages that the pathless path is not in its nature an alternative path to get rich or successful (while working with more freedom) & navigating it has a much deeper sense to finding who you are and experimenting with more possibilities that life can offer. I would recommend it to anyone!

Alright, but not outstanding
The book provides insight into the author's decision to leave his stable job and how he embarks on his journey to find fulfiling work. The book was ok overall, but there were many repetitions. It feels like his main goal writing this book was to make money.
I hoped for deeper conversation, analysises and some more eye opening statistics. Overall, I found the story a bit shallow

Probably not for you
It's quite hard to go on listing to the author dwelling on his inner feelings of inadequacy and the inner hurdles he feels without noting, that there seem to be very few real world external hurdles to anything he does. Example: He incidentally quits his job at a high paid consultancy and struggles. Can he really book a vacation of several weeks next day? Or just the usually two weeks?
The book has plenty of these inner struggles to offer. It's about someone from a well-off American middle-class family, being raised with care, going to an good school, dropping out of a elite consultancy on his track to, hopefully, fulfilment in his life. There is nothing wrong or shameful about telling that story. Anyone bringing with her/him a similar economical background and feeling the need to somehow have her struggles spelt out, go for it.
Anyone that would find herself homeless, without food, struggling to care for family members and wonders how to get through a month financially: not for you, sorry. You lack the ingredients for this hero journey, which the author acknowledges only for a brief moment: the genetic lottery win.
The author speaks about ancient Greece and how hedonism considered work as something not worth a real human being. I guess that's meant to introduce his notion of rethinking work. I feel however, it's indicative that he does not mention those, who allowed ancient Hedonists to think that way: slaves.
