Just as the title says. The entire book allows us to finally see larger progress of our characters through several years.

Please control voice levels and clipping when you do your annoying Luna drill instructor voice. god it's so annoying and shrill I wish I could give her a -20 dB. Almost made me quit giving me a headache.

Nice story otherwise and good voice acting just tune down the volume on that already annoying character.

Good, not-so-stupid characters. Borken's traits are fully exploited. Simply good to watch, and with a logical training timeline. Not the typical: invincible after two days of training.

I really like the the books and I was really looking forward for the new one.
But it feels like a filler between books.
80% of the book is a training-montage, but in slowmotion... They train, they get older, but there is next to nothing, what gets the story forward. A little bit disappointing.
But I am looking forward to the next one.

This is probably not for everyone as it has a lot of time where nothing happens bur World building. In my opinion tho it is a really good listen and i recommend it

Really good story

I usually like training montages and ocasional timeskips but this is way too much.
To the point that its the whole content of the book. After 5th " and so they spend the next x*years/months" its just annoying and boring,
the first 3 books had 2-3 year spans and loads of story and power progression but this one is ca.15 years and barelly any progression. mc´s are in the 30s and are still mentally on the same level as in book 3. of course the are some new skills and revelations with rift craft but thats about it.
I really hope next book has the expected tournament arc because this one was basicly just the advertisment for it.

for 10 years they trained hard and improved their skills ... a lot. the end. everything that was great about the first 3 books this book has not.
