i had the best time listening to this story! and the narration is to die for! funny, very intense, quick witted, hot. PINING. beautiful friendship and family vibes. the underlaying message of the importance of true joy in life..all I want in a book! is it Christmas already??

What a fun read! I laughed out loud several times. Absolutely love the humour of the MC and the love interest is VERY intriguing. I also liked the portrayal of friendship and the sibling relationship between the two princes of Christmas. Very well balanced between angst, romance, humour, tension, fluff and story.
Themes of finding your place in the world and pre designed systems, finding your own voice, taking up responsibility not only for yourself but the ppl who depend on you and of course friendship and love.

Also would like to point out how well the whole relationship between Hex and Coal was portrayed and how healthy and caring it was which didn't take away from any tension. But consent is important y'all and I love when it's an explicit part of the story.

The narrator was absolutely fantastic!! Landed every narrative tone and shift of it and narrated in a really engaging way.

Def recommend, especially during Halloween/Christmas time.

I loved this one. The characters are great. I’ve melted several times, especially alongside Coal when talking about Hex. We love him VERY much. Gives a bit of SnowBaz Vibes with our chaotic main charge and too sexy “dark” counterpart. Absolutely recommend.

I really liked that book. The time jump at the start was a bit awkward but then it really delivered. The narrator was excellent.
If you read RWRB you certainly know what to expect. Despite being fantasy this is still royal romance and contains mature open door scenes.
I didn't think I would like the fantasy world so much but the author really made an effort to create unique holiday magic and lovely characters. As the story continues and we got to uncover more and more of the characters and their beliefs all began to made sense and form a picture. It was a real good story and I have already preordered the next book. I really hope to hear about Iris finding the happiness she deserves.

ohne Spoiler kann ich sagen es gibt kein Love triangle und keine Homophobie in diesem Buch, was mich sehr gefreut hat. der Sprecher macht seinen Job gut und die Geschichte ist gut geschrieben
