Under the arches of Ailing Cathedral six girls with no names are raised to see things that other people cannot see.

These girls are called Diviners. They are like containers that hold signs from the future. They have to follow rituals and they are hidden from the rest of the world. People are scared of them because they tell the truth.

One of the girls does not belong with the others.

She does not remember where she came from. She does not know her name or what her life was like before. All she remembers is the feeling of water and the sense that something very old is watching her.

Then a young king comes to the cathedral. He wants the girls to tell him what the future holds. This makes the secret world of the girls start to fall. Old stories begin to happen. The Omens, which were thought to be away start to move again.. Somewhere in the dark a thing, with no name is getting closer.

The moth is what it is called.

It does not have a stone or a symbol or a voice.

All it has is a promise.

When peoples desires and power and beliefs collide outside the cathedral the Diviners are pulled into a game. This game will test how loyal they are it will change who they think they are. It will change their fate.
