    Educatiomal and entertaining!

    If you're interested in Anglo-Saxon Britain or the language, buy this audio book! The professor is a wonderful communicator and material is siper interesting. I wish the book had been longer!

    A window in a world now long gone

    Witty, engaging and with humour Michael Drout presents this lecture about Anglo Saxon culture from the beginning in about 500 AD to the end in 1066. In addition the influences of the Anglo Saxon culture up to the modern times are presented and there is more than one aha - moment in the course of the presentation. Recommended to anyone who is interested in history, especially if you ever wondered what influences language does have.
