Marked by Feynman's characteristic combination of rationality and humor, these lectures provide an intimate glimpse at the man behind the legend. He says at the start of his final lecture, "I dedicate this lecture to showing what ridiculous conclusions and rare statements such a man as myself can make." Rare, perhaps, and irreverent, sure. But ridiculous? Not even close.

Der Sprecher redet komisch. Ganz anders als wie Richard Feynman. Das Buch ist sehr kurz.

This short philosophical piece is a far shot from Mr Feynman's ingenious lectures on physics. I find a lot of it shortsighted and naïve, which is all the more disappointing given his enormous merits in quantum theory, of all fields. His conclusions from the episode about his wife's clock reminded me of a wonderful Thoreau quote: 'There is more religion in science than there is science in religion'.

A negligible little book.
