Second, the story. I didnt expect much, I was just tired of the same old dark new adult romance stories but this proofed me different. I don't want to give away too much but it had a lot I liked. Good academia aspects, good friends and different characters, romance was more in the backseat of it all, which gave the story itself more time to shine! The pacing was nice and fast, never boring. And I also liked some of the gory/creepy moments. Well done without being out of place or too wdgy. It just worked and I'm curious and excited to see the (character) development and relationship dynamics going forward :)
