I did like the way the story was written, even though the dog story line made me fear for the author, after all you don't kill dogs!

The (post)apocalyptic world the protagonist fights through combines elements of futurism with fantasy like trope and just a spec of humour, while still being harsh and unforgiving.

The amount of gore and death is rather high, so if you don't like those, maybe you should avoid the story.



The speaker has a nice voice, but it's noticeable to be his first audiobook; the next ones are sure going to be even better.
Only a few repeated sentences (probably marking breaks) did slightly deteriorate the quality

Gory postapocalypse with some humour and a pretty big cliffhanger
