The idea of a phycicist thrown into a world of magic, using his talents and understanding of basic principles to survive, is novel and exciting.
but i only can give this book three stars, because I struggled to finish it. The author tries to impress with his vast vocabulary and deep understanding of physics, but neglects good storrytelling. Long booring secription of facts, jumping from one perspective to another wothout rime or reason make it somtimes difficult to listen to.
most likely I will not get the next nook inthe arc and find something else better suited to my tastes

Und ab jetzt liest sich der Roman, als hätte ein gelangweilter theoretischer Physiker ohne Sozialkontakte zu Schreiben begonnen:
Umfangreicher Wortschatz für technische Beschreibungen und Theorien, strukturierte Lösungsansätze und reflektierte Situationsanalysen… aber keine vernünftige Soziale Interaktion (alle Menschen sind ja tot. Nur eine AI mit Helfersyndrom und ohne eigene Ambitionen oder auch nur ein klein wenig Eigensinn und nach 5h Hörzeit dann eine wortwörtliche Göttin aus Güte, Schönheit, Hilfsbereitschaft, etc - der er sich sogleich zu Füßen wirft, wie ein Simp der gleich mit Geldüberweisungen losstartet). Alles geht vom Protagonisten aus / alle anderen sind nur zum Beobachten da oder reagieren auf ihn…
