Even when his fool cousin takes one and needs rescuing. Rolfe isn't going to get involved beyond making sure his cousin survives. That's his plan. At least until he lays eyes on Annis.

Annis is different. Her allure is something he can't put into words, or ignore it would seem.

By the time he escorts them to his cousin's stronghold, all Rolfe is thinking about is how to steal Annis away.

delightful

I really like this series. it is like Mary wine took everything that bothered me in the highland wedding series and fixed it here. this is the 3rd book out of 3 that I really liked. the MCs Used their heads and were sensible. the chmistry was there and they fought to be together and not with each other to push the other away I apreciated that.
