This book hast an interesting base story ans is good for an easy read. But I think it also has more potential than the actual result shows. Even though you get insights on the thoughts of both main characters alike, there is not much introduction to the actual personalities of the characters. So I felt like I had to overthink reactions and interactions sometimes as I wasn't sure some fit.
The reader was good, as I was able to differenciate the characters in conversations. Although it sometimes it was monotonous, even if the plot would have allowed some emotions.
So basicly a good story, but it has more potential than it got. But I still recommend it.

I LOVED the book. It is not overly complicated, but the main character was likable, reasonably intelligent and brave in her own way, which I really appreciate. I did love the groveling the MM had to do to redeem himself as well. The nation was wonderfully done. I am happy, clap clap. I think I would wish for slightly more of the romance part, not spice, just bit more romance. Defo suitable for youger audience.
