Ich find die Geschichten sehr schön, weil der Autor sich mit vielen Details auseinandersetzt. Ich habe in dem Buch mal ein halbes Jahr Pause gemacht, weil es mir zu anstrengend war. Durch die vielen Details und Namen bekommt es etwas längen.

Excellent SciFi

Seit frühester Kindheit ein SciFi Fan muss ich bedauern auf Hamilton erst jetzt gestoßen zu sein.
Ich habe den Fehler gemacht mit Padoras Star anzufangen und musste dann einfach The Void hören. Nun werde ich endlich die Commenwealth Saga hören.

Was Hamilton geschrieben hat ist wirklich außergewöhnlich gut und wird nun auf ewig der Standard an Space Saga sein an dem sich jede zukünftige Geschichte messen lassen muss.

Für SciFi Fans ein Muss!

Die Void-Trilogie kommt in 'The Evolutionary Void' zum Ende.

Der Void droht, die Milchstraße zu verschlingen. Wird es Justine, dem Commonwealth und den Rayel gelingen, die absolute Katastrophe zu verhindern?

In diesem finalen Teil kollidieren zwei Universen miteinander. Der Fantasyteil nimmt weniger Raum ein als im Vorgänger, vermutlich zur Freude des Großteils der Hörer.

Das Ende ist gut genug. Dennoch ist die ganze Reihe etwas sperrig und nicht unbedingt das, was man nach 'Pandora's Star' und 'Judas Unchained' erwartet hätte. Einmaliges Hören reicht mir hier voraussichtlich.

John Lees Vertonung ist auf gewohnt hohem und beständigem Niveau.

I really like Peter F. Hamilton's stories. But the commonwealth series I like the most. The void trilogy is as good as the first commonwealth storyline. His style of writing is very vivid and his concepts of science mixed with fiction are one of the most intriguing I've ever come to know. Also the alien species he envisions are really, really good. Very different from one another but every single one as interesting as the next.

To conclude this, I can only say that Peter F. Hamilton is one of my favorite science fiction writers to this date.
