The main character is quite enjoyable and starts a bit meek with potential to grow. Also the relationship with his father is nice. Not a lone knows it all but someone who takes suggestions while following his own ideas.

Good city builder, reasoable power growth whit strenghts that fits into the politcal system, propper political and econnomical interactions without 20th century idiology dilution. Same with the speech, titles are propperly used and not dismissed at every turn like we nowadays do as it is usually the case in the genre. I can't wait for it to continue.

The MC is okay, nur nothing special. just an average guy with some luck. not very driven by combat.
It was okay to listen, but a bit slow for my taste.
I was a bit annoy, about the fact, that a decribtion of a Dress was more detailed than any of the building stuff, tho.

The narrator needs to work on his audio recording. You can hear the turning of pages sometimes.

I hope for more Progress and proactive MC.

Still looking for the next book, in hope its "more".
