Tad overcame the overwhelming power of Oblivion, saving both his brother and his mentor, but the world has never been in worse shape.

With the sky still smothered, the Defector's plots advance ever closer to their fruition. The warlord class trial looms ahead of our hero. Will he be the match to the severity of what is to come, or will it break him entirely?

Couldn't stop listening.
From narration to story, I loved everything.
I'm very exited for the next one.

Love it

I likes the previous books. I found the leveling system compelling and somehow the suffering of Ted. But with this one.... Well spoiler alert from here on.
getting a creator vessel -> nice. Also that you don't become a creator but get the ability to absorp creators like in the void fights, you had me there. but than
- loosing the level up program ( I imagine it will not come back, could not listen any longer)
- absorbing infinit void to get fingertooth ( bad deus ex machina )
- long meaningless conversations that don't explain anything
- chapters full of nothing ( pitch black world where nothing happens )

this is a LitRPG, I want my leveling system. I want stats and slight glitches that helps the MC to break the system a little bit but all in a well defined ruleset. The MC should grind ( like in the prev books ) to achieve his goals, not getting everything handed to him by just absorbing more and more void that he did not even work for. Gosh, imagine a LitRPG where the character is just sitting there, has no motivation to level up ( that is happening in this book ) and gets fed XP potions just because I don't know why.

Couldn't listen to the whole thing, liked the voice actor/ narrator but the story lost me unfortunately.

in short: safe your credits and act like the series ended after book 4 like we all should have done with the last season of GoT.

the author lost me
