First book in a long while I have rage quit. For some unknown reason the narrator uses a very quiet soft voice for the male hero, so quiet and soft you simply can’t hear it. When you turn the sound up, „he“ stops speaking and the narration comes back on full volume volume.
It reminds me of those movies that are so dark you can’t see anything, and wonder why you bother watching.
I’m skipping this book, and I hope the rest of the series is back the the previous high quality.
Can’t review more as I gave up at the start of chapter 7. I’ll read it instead.

Story had promise but terrible narration

The story could have been really good but the female character is childish and the male character whiny. The narrator speaks Duncan's voice ridiculously softly and quietly.
The story becomes boring, annoying and really bad when there are still 3 hours to go... Sad because the novels before were good
