Cute and fun but not as wholesome and heartwarming as the Ivy series. Still worth a read for sure though. Also one more star off for the evangelical preaching.

The author creates complex characters who struggle with real life situations and are transformed as they humble themselves and accept the grace of God. The narrator was fantastic!There were so many characters and she expertly have them all distinct and credible voices. Bravo!

Ich mag die Erzählweise von Julie Klassen sehr gern und lese die verschiedenen überraschenden Wendungen der Charaktere immer mit viel Interesse. Leider finde ich das Ende des Buches etwas zu flach und zu schön. Das hat mich etwas enttäuscht, auch wenn ich die Intention dahinter vielleicht verstehen kann. Andere ihrer Bücher bleiben da etwas realistischer.
