I started it curious about why it is a classic. It was a little tedious at times but mt goodness what a lovely volume to walk to.

I would definitely listen to the book again and can recommend it without hesitation. One of the more gripping books I've heard in a while - I wanted to reach the end so I knew everything, while at the same time, regretting the book was indeed over.

The speaker did an outstanding job reading the Count. He was easy to understand and well paced throughout the reading of the story.

The narrator is excellent and makes following the Story very enjoyable. His Intonation is great and also the pronunciation of french words quite accurate.

The Story itself is incredible. The Life of Edmont Dantes and his revenge was something I couldn't stop once I started it.
I wouldn't have thought that a story almost 200 years old would still catch me like it did today.
I can definitely recommend this one.

It is quite long, but if you get into it, you bill be quite glad about that fact.

Started it out of pure curiosity, knowing absolutely nothing about it but it's reputation and had an incredible time.

the length of the book made me hesitate to start it for a long time, but afterwards I can say it was definitely worth it.
In the first few chapters I had difficulties to keep an overview of all characters but a character map/summary helped me with that.

The story overall is an epic and versatile tale. Could the book have told it in 10 hours less? maybe, but it's so full of events and twists that the length is also justified.

A special praise for the narrator! he manages to give the large amount of characters a different and authentic voice,
