Wie in andere Kommentaren erwähnt ist er nicht so gruselig wie der andere Teil aber er macht dafür Ereignisse aus dem ersten Band noch deprimierender.

This book/audiobook made me feel like the author really tried to apply the critiques he got for stolen tongues. The characters and their relationships have more depth and the native american culture and struggles were a lot more central to the story while not being portrayed in a overdramatized way (as far as I can tell anyway, I'm not expert). All in all the story is a little less scary than stolen tongues but lays a great foundation for it, which made me want to listen to it all over again.
