Ich glaube ja, dass ein Großteil der Reizes schottischer Literatur darauf basiert, dass der Leser a) schonmal da war oder b) gerne dahin möchte. So ist es zumindest bei mir- beides. Abgesehen von den meiner Ansicht nach wenig originellen aber sehr schönen Landschaftsbeschreibungen und einem guten Gefühl für die Insel-Atmosphäre bietet Peter May's Lewis-Trilogie solide Fastfood-Krimi-Unterhaltung. Und Peter Forbes kann es so lesen, dass auch ich es verstehe.
