Es wird erzählt, wie in verschiedenen Bereichen (Luftfahrt, Ingenieurswesen, Medizin) durch Checklisten die Qualität verbessert wird. Sehr interessant fand ich die Ausführung über die Schwierigkeiten bei der Einführung. Die praktischen Hinweise, die man erhält, lassen sich allerdings leider an einer Hand abzählen.

it's a summary of how complicated procedures like surgery, flying airplanes and how financiers choose their investments have improved by people using checklists and working as teams. There is no real takeaway for everyday life. Although i work in medicine and therefore found the medical stories fascinating, the overall book does not hold much value to me and the finance/airplane stories were too long-winded for my taste. The narrator ist obnoxious, he sounds like a bad murican actor, especially when he was imitating a nurse in a high voice... at the end i was listening at double speed just to get through it.

Not recommended. The guy just keeps going on and on about how checklists were useful in medical context. It's extremely repetitive and he does not make a coherent case that this applies to other areas and how one should go about it.

For me, it was boring and a waste of time.
