Nach dem Ende der Merkel-Ära scheinen Viele vergessen zu haben, was unsere Kanzlerin alles geschafft hat. Ich finde, Kati Marton gelingt es gut, die politischen Entscheidungen Frau Dr Merkels vor dem Hintergrund des persönlichen Lebenswegs Merkels zu beschreiben. Außerdem toll, eine andere (neutralere) Sichtweise auf das Schaffen der Bundeskanzlerin a. D. zu erhalten.

Most Germans don't seem to remember the big impact of Dr Merkels political decisions in the past 16 years. Kati Morton does a splendid Job, outlining them in the light of the chancellors upbringing and personal history. Plus, I liked very much, gaining a more neutral view on the legacy of the now retired chancellor Merkel.
