This story is driving the listener many times down and only a few times up, showing very clearly the depths from all aspects of a human towards this disease. Increasing the understanding of patients in an augmenting degree during the time of listening.

getting the point

I liked the story and it's authenticity a lot, until there apoear racist passages, which are not commented, like the fear and discomfort the main character has about a hospital, just because she can hear black man speak in a foreign language. It is hurting and annoying. Am disappointed if the book due to that. The writer describes discrimination due to mental illness and yet is totally unaware of her own discriminating attitude.
