Jon even managed to score success with a solo album, Blaze of Glory, and found time to become a movie star, debuting in Moonlight of Valentia in 1995 and the follow up movie The Leading Man.

At times the recording of the band’s responses is not of the highest quality, particularly because of background music, but if a listener is willing to delve deeply into the interview, he or she will emerge with some genuine treasures. Bruens, Jacks, and Tetle conduct their conversation with Jon Bon Jovi and bandmates with a warmth and avidity that elicits corresponding responses. The narrators clearly fill in biographical information and editorialize admiringly between firsthand accounts from the musicians, thus this "audiography" leaves a listener with a multi-dimensional portrait of an iconic New Jersey band.
