Ich glaube PJ O’Rourke ist in Deutschland unbekannt. Und wenn er bekannt wäre wurde er bis auf die Knochen gehasst werden. Er hat ein sehr harten Humor, ist Rechts Libertarier (also Liberal in den Extrem). Politisch in der Ecke von Ayn Rand. O‘Rourke gilt als früher Vertreter des Gonzo-Journalismus. Er ist ein großer Gegner von Staatseinmischung und jede Form von Sozialismus und Kollektivismus.

Ich bin Schon seit sehr lange Fan von ihm und sein Schreibstil. Der Man ist extrem lustig, und hat ein sehr scharfen blick auf alles was Falsch ist an Politiker und Behörden.

In Dieses Buch geht es aber über was anderes. Es geht über seine eigene Generation, die Babyboomers, oder die 68er. Er macht keine gefangenen und geht knallhart gegen diese Selbstgerechte und egozentrischen Ich-Ich-Ich-Generation an.

Selten so gelacht.

Es ist vor allen Selbstironie, da er selber auch ein Hippie war.

Ich kann jeder der 68er raten dies Buch mal zu Lesen oder Hören, ich hoffe ihr Könnt lachen. Ich bin selber von Generation X.
